Yellow Light of Death Fix £80.00 + Delivery

Seen when the power light on the front of the console turns from RED to GREEN to AMBER to RED and is accompanied by a series of bleeps. This is caused by a breakdown of the circuits or processors on the main board.

Once this happens you are not able to retrieve either your Games Disk or Save Game Data

We can repair up to 85% of machines with this error. If we cannot repair your Playstation 3 then we do not charge you.

We cure the Yellow Light of Death by stripping the Playstation 3 down to the main board and re-flowing the solder. We clean everything up including the Heat Sinks, Fans and Blu-Ray Drive.

Out of the 85% that we repair, 2% come back for a second time and are repaired again.

Warranty for Re-flows are as follows. Your Three Month Warranty cover starts when the machine is repaired and leaves our workshop. If the machine fails within three months then we will attempt to repair it again. If it fails a third time then we are unable to do anymore work on the machine and should be considered a write off.

Disc Read Error £40.00 to £100.00 + Delivery

Disc Read Error (DRE), is when Your Playstation 3 Cannot read discs, freezes during games, cannot exit a game or cannot read certain types of media.

This error can be caused by either faulty hardware or a corrupted Hard Drive. We can restore or replace faulty Hard Drives or replace Blu-Ray Lasers. If notice is given we can carry out the work while you wait.

Free Console Fault Finding Inspection Service

We offer a free, no obligation inspection Service. Just bring or post your console that needs to be repaired to our workshop and our engineers will carry out a full inspection. Once we have inspected your faulty console our engineer will contact you with an repair cost. If you decide not to go ahead with the repair then you are free to collect the console from our workshop or pay for postage of the console back to you

All repaired consoles are Bench Tested

once your console is repaired we bench test it to ensure it will perform well once you get it home.

We put your console through its paces to check that it can perform like new

If the console does not pass our bench test then we do not charge you for the repair

All repaired consoles carry a three month warranty

For peace of mind we provide you with a written guarantee providing a three month warranty for parts and labour - Lasers are provided with a six month warranty on parts
